We want to wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving. This year, with all that is happening in our country, it seems more important than ever to take a break from the news and focus on gratitude and loving.
As you go through your Thanksgiving Day, think of things you have to be grateful for. Everyone has something and, as you focus on that, you will find more things.
I'm Grateful For...
Each time you feel something to be grateful for, imagine that you are plucking a most lovely flower. If you continue throughout the day feeling your gratitude, you will find that you have a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
If some of your feelings of gratitude involve people, reach out and communicate your feelings. Even sending someone a small text thanking them for their contribution to your life will be a blessing to that person.
If you are alone and are feeling lonely, you can still reach out and thank people. And if you are with family members and there is tension between you perhaps there is even one thing that you could find about that family member that you could thank. Every bit of gratitude goes a very long way.
Feeling Gratitude and Expressing It
Yes it is nice to eat a good meal with friends and family. But the deeper reason for the holiday is about feeling gratitude and expressing it.
If your day is all about thanks-giving (giving thanks), you will have a wonderful day, even if you are delayed in an airport somewhere not able to make your connection. Still you can express gratitude to others, and this opening of the heart in love will have a powerful effect on you.
A Bouquet of Gratitude
This could be the best Thanksgiving of your life and it has nothing to do with the food that you eat.
We are sending our love and gratitude to each of you for the beauty of the connection that we feel with you.
