ILLUMINATIONS: The revelatory light of the Taurus Full Moon that occurs tonight (9:11 p.m. PDT on October 25) continues to shine with some intensity into the first days of the coming week. The Sun, the Moon, and Pluto form a challenging T-square at the time of the lunation—and while the Moon-Pluto square that forms one side of the configuration perfects just 33 minutes after the Full Moon is exact, the Sun-Pluto square that forms the other side of the configuration perfects eight hours later (5:11 a.m. PDT on October 26).
The peak of a lunar cycle, when the Moon shines its brightest in the sky, always corresponds with heightened emotions and also offers the possibility of illuminations. These qualities are underscored in tonight's lunation, with Pluto acting as Psychotherapist and Detective. The process of bringing light to the darkness, of exposing unconscious motivations and hidden agendas, are initiated by the Full Moon itself but will powerfully impact our experience on Monday as well.
TIME TO GET BACK ON COURSE: We reach a check-in point, a time of assessing where we are and what we want to aim for next, with this week's Jupiter-Saturn sesquiquadrate. This challenging aspect is part of the 20-year cycle that began with the Great Conjunction on December 21, 2020, when Jupiter and Saturn aligned in progressive Aquarius. That conjunction set the stage for major shifts that will occur over the ensuing two decades in many areas of our shared experience: social structures and governments, laws and sciences, religions and belief systems.
The sesquiquadrate between Jupiter and Saturn perfects on Saturday, but it is a strong influence throughout this week and next. The aspect represents an opportunity to make significant changes in our collective trajectory, specifically with the intention to get us "back on course" in manifesting the Aquarian ideals of cooperation, equality, altruism, and more.
DAILY ASPECTS THIS WEEK (October 26 to November 1, 2026):
Monday
Sun square Pluto: Intense feelings, some that may have been bottled up for a long time, rise to the surface now. It can be challenging to maintain objectivity with this aspect. With Pluto currently stationary AND out of bounds, emotional reactions could be extreme.
Tuesday
Sun quincunx Uranus: We may feel restless and impatient with this aspect, especially with anything that appears false or superficial.
Wednesday
Venus (R) opposite Chiron: Old relationship wounds could be reawakened now. We may feel distant from loved ones, reminding us of the need to give ourselves the acceptance and caring that we tend to seek externally.
Mars sesquiquadrate Neptune: We could feel uncertain about what we want and need, as well as how to find the fulfillment we seek. Efforts to force anything will likely result in disappointment.
Thursday
No major aspects are exact today.
Friday
Mercury (R) square Mars: Disagreements and conflicting viewpoints can trigger dramatic verbal exchanges. The search for the truth of a matter may be temporarily waylaid by theatrical displays.
Saturday
Mercury (R) sesquiquadrate Neptune: It may be hard to know who or what information to trust. This aspect requires that we listen for the small, quiet voice of our intuition, rather than believing the loudest voice in the room—including our own emotional responses.
Jupiter sesquiquadrate Saturn: The perceived opposites of hope and realism are both needed at this time. The challenge of this aspect is to believe and have faith, while also taking personal responsibility for initiating the change we wish to see in the world.
Sunday
Sun quincunx Saturn: The mood is serious, and perhaps melancholy or even fearful today. The desire for transformational change could feel contrary to our need for stability.

If Your Birthday Is This Week (October 26 to November 1, 2026):
A profound shift is underway in some area of your life, one that is inviting you to embrace new levels of self-understanding. It may be time to let go of certain aspects of your identity, the ones that have been defined by externals, rather than based on your own truth and self-knowing. Over the coming year, deep emotions may come to the surface and ask to be accepted—perhaps ones that once were suppressed or repressed. For those born October 26-29, these changes have already been unfolding over the past year; for those born October 30-November 1, these shifts may now be in their beginning phase. (Solar Return Sun quincunx Uranus, square Pluto)

Article Recap:
This week's astrology is defined by a potent interplay of exposure and realignment: the Taurus Full Moon's Pluto-charged T-square continues to illuminate hidden truths and intense emotions well into Monday, while the landmark Jupiter-Saturn sesquiquadrate on Saturday calls the collective to reassess its path and recommit to Aquarian ideals of equality and cooperation. Retrograde Mercury and Venus add layers of emotional complexity — stirring old wounds, igniting verbal conflicts, and challenging us to discern real intuition from reactive noise. Ultimately, the week invites a courageous balance of hope and personal responsibility as the seeds of a new collective direction are tended.
