Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self
There are many expressions that remind us to accept life with equanimity. To quote a few: There are no accidents. There are no problems only opportunities. What goes around comes around. Or even just "that's life!" And while some of these can rankle us and sound trite, they offer a basic truth in life: when we resist "what is" we get frustrated and moody and impatient, if not outright angry.
When we learn to see that everything (and everyone) that comes our way brings a message, a teaching, a way to learn to see life from another perspective, to react differently, we can then traverse each challenge or event with a lot more calm and peace of mind.
It doesn't mean the event is not challenging, but simply that the challenge is seen more as a "test" in school. Did we learn the material that was outlined on the curriculum? And in life, the curriculum includes patience, acceptance, honesty, integrity, compassion, joy, wonder, seeing the Beauty in everything (and everyone)... all of those (and more) rolled up together in the word Love with a capital L, ormaybe all capitals: LOVE.
There are major changes taking place inside of all of us and on the planet, and more to come in this world play. And how we traverse those rough waters is up to us... we can take slow deep breaths and learn to see the good or the positive possibilities in everything. We can hold that vision in our heart and in our mind and thus help hold the vibration of Love and Peace, not only within us, but radiating from us as well.
You do make a difference even if it's not obvious at the time! We also all make a difference when we radiate negative energies like fear, anger, resentment, etc., thus the importance of "cleaning up our act"... and to remember it is indeed an act as we are simply actors on the world stage. Shakespeare said it way back then... "All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.” So what part or parts will you choose to play?
This week's articles aim to help you do that by providing insights, information, and inspiration.
