Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.
This week we look at life through the lenses of science and spirituality. While some may question whether such "esoteric sciences" as astrology, numerology, ESP, and healing energy are true science, I believe that everything is connected, has a purpose, and can be used on our life's journey for enlightenment and well-being. The results often depend on our openness to new ideas, as well as being willing to accept alternative and non-traditional methods and beliefs.
Every day we have a new opportunity to either continue on the path we are on, or to step onto a new path. Sarah Varcas shines light on our choices in "A New Dawn, A New Moon, and A Clearer Path Ahead". The authors of a new book entitled "The Premonition Code" explain precognitive abilities in "Seeing Into the Future and Ahead of Yourself?"
To facilitate any changes we wish to embark upon, it's helpful to learn "How To Access More Energy and Mind Power". We may also need to step out of our traditional beliefs and teachings, and discover new mindsets and attitudes for "Healing The World: Beyond Science, Religion, and Materialism". Dan Millman, in the 25th anniversary edition of his book "The Life You Were Born to Live", introduces numerous Laws of Spirit that assist us along our way in "Fulfilling Our Individual Destiny: Spiritual Laws and Life Purpose".
And of course, we also bring you numerous articles on a variety of topics. Scroll down below for the short intros and the links to this week's new articles.
Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, and loving week.

A New Dawn, A New Moon, and A Clearer Path Ahead
Written by Sarah Varcas
If you’ve felt confused in recent days (Neptune has been opposing the Sun so it’s quite likely!), this Moon sets out a clearer path ahead which starts right where we are, not in some distant place we think we should be by now! Delusions or self-deceptions are cast aside by this moon. We can see ourselves as we truly are and in doing so identify what’s needed to address challenges and capitalise on blessings.

Seeing Into the Future and Ahead of Yourself?
Written by Theresa Cheung and Dr. Julia Mossbridge
Have you ever had a feeling something was definitely going to happen and it actually does? Have you ever had a dream and then seen it play out in your daily life? Have you ever avoided something horrible by listening to your intuition, even if you didn’t know what you were avoiding at the time? Chances are you probably dismissed such flashforwards as coincidence, but we all have the potential to sense and change our futures.

How To Access More Energy and Mind Power
Written by Anna Comerford

Healing The World: Beyond Science, Religion, and Materialism
Written by Steve Taylor
As an academic - a researcher and senior lecturer at a university in the UK - people are often surprised by my unorthodox views on the nature of life, and of the world. For example, when I mention to colleagues that I’m open-minded about the possibility of some form of life after death, or that I believe in the possibility of paranormal phenomena such as telepathy or pre-cognition, they look at me as if I’ve told them I’m going to give up academia and become a truck driver.

Fulfilling Our Individual Destiny: Spiritual Laws and Life Purpose
Written by Dan Millman
Human laws form a basis of social agreement and social order, but human laws are only pale reflections of a higher order of laws sewn into the fabric of existence. These laws govern the movement of the Earth, the cycle of seasons, the forces of nature, and the structure of the atom itself. The great laws existed before humanity, before nature.
