Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.
Today is Mother's Day and while our articles do not specifically address Mother's Day or mothers, our graphic for the newsletter is a message for all mothers (and children of mothers) past, present, and future... and for the mothers who have crossed over to the other side of the veil as well. And to our beautiful and awesome Mother Earth as well, we wish Happy Mother's Day.
In our articles this week, we feature some of the traits that are usually associated with the feminine aspect of our being (whether male or female)... kindness, caring, communicating with love, and listening with an open-heart. We also address aging at home which many are dealing with their parents or themselves. And we focus on the language of flowers for the new prince.
And of course, we have numerous new articles on a variety of topics... always with the goal of expanding our views, our insights, and our experience. Scroll down below for titles, descriptions, and links to the new articles.
Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, and loving week.

Aging In Your Own Home... Does It Take A Village?
Written by Lynda G. Shrager
Statistics show that the average yearly cost of an assisted living facility ($49,635) or a nursing home ($131,853) makes these options financially prohibitive for many. The viable alternative is to safely age in place. The psychosocial benefits of remaining in their own home, continuing to be socially active in their community, and maintaining established relationships are priceless.
