InnerSelf's Daily Inspiration

September 4, 2024

The focus for today is:

I express love in acts of kindness, compassion,
helpfulness, empathy, forgiveness, and caring.

Today's inspiration was written by Jude Bijou:

Anger, left unexpressed physically, naturally, and constructively, manifests in unkind words, thoughts, or actions. It could be expressed as negativity, criticism, being judgmental, or blaming. Anger, dealt with constructively, brings us back to our heart and lets our love shine through. And we can express our love in acts of kindness.

Kindness shows itself in a lot of ways, such as acts of compassion, helpfulness, empathy, forgiveness, and caring. These gestures ignite feelings of love in both the recipients and ourselves.

For maximum effect, kindness must be offered without expecting something in return, except for you to feel more love and connection. Kindness is not a business transaction.

Today's inspiration was adapted from the InnerSelf.com article:

This is Marie T. Russell, co-publisher of InnerSelf.com, wishing you a day of being kind, caring, and compassionate (today and every day)

Comment from Marie:
Being kind to others is probably one of the greatest gifts we can give, since kindness includes compassion, helpfulness, empathy, forgiveness, and caring. When we live from that space, our being is filled with inner peace. And inner peace leads to a more fulfilled and fulfilling life.

Our focus for today: I express love in acts of kindness, compassion, helpfulness, empathy, forgiveness, and caring.
